DarkDragons bangbang 28 29

I've mentioned DarkDragons and DrawBlood take place in the same universe, so here is what happened to Lady Rose Randolph... a mystery I set up almost a decade ago in these pages:

In a fit of frustration and depression, Rose burnt down her own mansion when her utopia didn't work out, faking her death, abandoning her town and friends... then became a follower of the vampire empress.  The vampire empress then captured the dragon who would (much) later become the mayor of the same town Rose abandoned.  It's very tangled.  And yes, he's a hypocrite for scrutinizing her for "absolute rule" when he also believes in it... just on a much smaller scale (one town versus the entire planet).  ALSO few people even know the vampire empress EXISTS.  She mostly lets humans do what they want.

The pages after this get into the Mayor's backstory, Blarie's dad, rather than Blaire.  I thought about making it a separate comic... but nah, his and Blaire's stories are too connected.
