Artist's Comments
watercolor fanart based off two things:
first, the characters are from the manga Bleach, Orihime (the girl) and Grimmjow (the big cat "hollow"). I chose to not draw her with her characteristic big doe eyes, since in anime they usually signify innocence; she's already jumped ship to the "evil" side, time to embrace it a little  Also, I based the cat directly on what it looked like in the manga, and the spine continued over the hole, so I don't want to hear criticisms on that.and second, the composition is based on a painting by the famous Amano titled "Animal" in which a woman in a green skirt is leaning on a mechanical black panther. ---------- edit--> here's a link to the original painting: [link] |
