I busted my ankle.
Today in work. Was only there about five minutes. Tripped over the empty air. That's right, went to take a step, and my foot decided it wasn't going to behave like a foot should, went limp, went inward, so I landed directly on a metal grate on my ankle. Fell over. Screamed and a whole bunch of people rushed to my aide. I was in so much pain I literally couldn't hear anything for a few minutes and broke out in a cold sweat. The thing is swollen up like a balloon. I had to literally be carried out by a manager and one of the truck drivers. Very, very embarrassing. Even better that this had to be a day when I forgot to shave my legs, so when anyone went to examine it, there was that... way to be an icky hippy, me (I really hate being a girl sometimes, way too much damn effort). Then spent all morning at the hospital getting x-rays getting treated, getting crutches. Not going to be able to walk normally for AT LEAST a week.
And earlier in the week, busted up the car. I'm on a roll!
Aghhh.
The only good news I've had all week is that since "Blame!" went out of print, the prices of the volumes have gone way up. They were originally $9.99 each, volume 4 alone is going for $100 now. So, for once, my manga collection is actually WORTH something? I thought I was wasting my money on all these translated Japanese comics... though I don't want to part with any of it.
I may get around to scanning it all one day, since Tokyopop is a terrible company that uses the worst paper, that decays very fast, and I want to preserve the artwork. (because no one really reads Blame! for the confusing story, it's all about the cyberpunk art.)
The only new thing I've sketched this week are my OC's Jordan, Shena, and Ivy as Killy, Cibo, an Sana-kan from Blame!
and you have an original comic O.O amazing <3333

My Dream is to become an amazing artist and follow in the footsteps of Chris Michael Sanders. I have so many ideas but laziness, art weaknesses, and my drawing hand get's in my way.
